Director of Children’s Ministries
Abby grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, Morris. She married George in 2001, and then it was time to move to Colorado Springs for a teaching job. George and Abby have two children. Abby learned of Village Seven through the ministry of MOPS. She joined the staff in 2013. She leads an incredible team serving the children of Village Seven and our community. Abby likes to photograph and scrapbook her family’s everyday adventures.
Children's Care Center Program Coordinator
Kitty grew up in San Antonio, Texas, from sixth grade until 1985 when she married Brian, an Air Force pilot for 26 years. They have four daughters—Kaeli, Kendall, Tiffany, and Tara—and 5 grandchildren. A Texas Aggie who received an MS in Interpersonal and Public Communication and an MBA in Management, Kitty also teaches classes at several colleges. She and Brian have lived in Colorado Springs since August 2010. Hobbies include reading, working in the yard, reading, scrapbooking, and reading. Her favorite parts of her job are the smiles and hugs from the children in the CCC.
Children's Care Center Administrator
Emily was born in Clarksville, Tennessee and grew up there. She attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, where she received a BS in Marketing. She met her husband, Tom, while he was stationed with the Army at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. They have one grown son, Patrick. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1993. She came to work at Village Seven as the Children’s Care Center Administrative Coordinator in 1998. She feel’s truly blessed to be a part of the Children’s Ministry team at Village Seven. Emily enjoys reading, music, and paper crafting.
Special Events Coordinator
Brittany grew up in Miami, and was raised by Jamaican Christian parents. She started dancing at a young age, went to prestigious dance schools, and attended Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi, where she received her B.F.A. in dance. After an achilles tendon repair, she moved back to Miami where she trusted God for her next steps in regards to dance. An opportunity brought her to Colorado. She is currently the Special Events Coordinator at Village Seven, has been involved with the planning of basketball camp, VBS, Reformation Sunday, Share the Joy and Walk with Jesus.
Pioneer Clubs Coordinator
Nathan has been in Children's Ministry since birth. He grew up attending Pioneer Clubs and then taught for a couple years in high school and at Village Seven. Nathan and his wife, Stefanie taught 2nd & 3rd grade Sunday School at their church in Aurora, CO. The ministry of Pioneer clubs drew Nathan and his family to Village Seven. Nathan and Stefanie have four little girls and a little boy. He enjoys spending time with his family and woodworking. Nathan has a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology and works for Jeppesen processing real time flight critical information.

Beth was born and raised on a farm in central Illinois. She received a Bachelors of Theology from Sangre de Cristo Seminary in Westcliffe, Colorado. Beth has served faithfully at Village Seven for over 30 years and loves being a costumed storyteller for Vacation Bible School. She enjoys doing Crossfit, singing in the choir and teaching in the Women's Ministry.
