Refugee Ministry (Rock of Refuge) - Email Rich Wolfe

• Drivers needed for ESL, grocery store, doctor appointments and church.
• Have conversations with at home moms with children who often fall behind in their English.
• Teaching refugees how to shop.
• Teaching refugees how to drive.
• Coming along side a current co-sponsor team.
• Getting training with Lutheran Families Services.
• Purchase a $15 Nepalese Bible.

Northern Churches Care - Email John Albaugh

• Donate food staples to the Northern Churches Care box located outside
the sanctuary
• Hosts and Hostesses—4 hours per week: volunteers who create a welcoming
presence as well as log in clients and find out needs)
• Receptionist—4 hours per week: volunteers who will welcome clients, file, answer phones, confirm appointments and help with various office
needs.
• On-Call/Substitute Hostesses and/or Receptionist—4 hours per week
• Pantry Angels—4 hours per week: Volunteers who can assemble bags of food for clients—small amount of lifting required.
• Assistant Pantry Manager—6 hours per week: Volunteer will bring food from storage area to NCC facility 2-3 times a week. Lifting of up to 40 pounds may be required.
• In-Take Specialist—4 hours per week: Volunteers who meet with clients
to assess specific needs, share the assistance that is available, as well as pray with clients.
• On-Call/Substitute In-Take Specialist—4 hours per week
• Research and Reference Specialist—3 hours per week: Volunteers who will research and compile a list of programs and classes to give to NCC clients.
• Special Project Coordinator—3 hours per week: Volunteer who will coordinate special projects such as “The Back to School Program” and “The Holiday Program.” Coordinate, promote, and collect items for distribution to families or individuals.
