Hi, I'm Mark Bates, and I'm delighted that you stopped by Village Seven's online home. If you are new to our church, or just getting to know us through our website, we are delighted to help you. Village Seven is a large, extended family of people seeking to be Christ's disciples and to bear His truth into our world. We exist to extend the transforming presence of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ to Colorado Springs, the West and the World.
If you're brand new to the Christian faith—or perhaps just trying to figure out what it's all about, or if you've been a follower of Christ for some time, let us introduce you to our family. In worship, disciple-making, children's and youth programs, outreach and missions, or just having fun together, we would like to provide you with a church home, a place to come and see, to belong, to serve.
Pastor Mark Bates
Our congregation is a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). The PCA was founded in 1973 in response to the need for a scriptural, evangelical, and reformed witness to Christ.
Our VisionWe envision Village Seven Presbyterian Church to be a body of believers devoted to making and equipping disciples of Jesus Christ who are compelled by grace and love to proclaim the gospel in word and deed where they live, work and play.
To make, equip and deploy disciples who live out and proclaim the gospel through word and deed in Colorado Springs, the West and the World.
Village Seven functions under the Presbyterian, or representative, form of church government. The officers of the church are elders, elected by the congregation. The senior pastor, associate ministers, and ruling elders comprise the Session and are responsible for the governance and spiritual oversight of the church.
