84% of Christians say that they have no idea how the Bible relates to their field or profession. When we think of the word calling our minds naturally run to ministry. But what if our jobs are our calling? How is your work a part of God’s work?  At this conference, we are going to help you connect your ‘sacred’ and ‘secular’ by realizing they don’t need to be separate. Join us as we discuss ways to creatively and strategically advance Kingdom values at our workplace. Dr. Amy Sherman will be our keynote speaker. She provides training and consulting to churches and nonprofits seeking to transform their communities for the common good.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS

Purpose in Retirement Does God have a Kingdom purpose for retirement? Join us as we explore what the Bible has to say about this phase of life. We will discuss ways to shape retirement in a way that’s God-honoring, purpose-filled, restful, and biblical.

But I Hate My Job You are not alone. A majority of Christians feel that their job lacks meaning and purpose. They see no connection between their occupation and God’s work. The doctrine of vocation and calling gives hope that our job is giving us an opportunity to respond to God’s call on our life.

Tools to Face Adversity at Work Perhaps you are thinking “Integrating Faith and Work sound like a great idea — but it is not going to work where I work.” We will discuss practical ways to identify and implement spiritual disciplines to confront adversity at your workplace.

Glory in the Ordinary of Stay at Home Parenting Work within the home, and especially parenting, can often be messy and mundane. Join us to discuss the misconceptions about at-home-work and help infuse meaning and purpose into the everyday aspects of stay-at-home work and parenting.
