Announcements
Mercy’s Gate - Thanksgiving Meals
We partner with Mercy's Gate each year to provide Thanksgiving Meal Kits for 50 families that have received services from Mercy's Gate. These meal kits ease the burden and make it possible for these families to have a large Thanksgiving meal together. In October and November we ask for funds from the congregation to purchase food items for the meal kits. On November 24, the meal kits are distributed by church families, who have an opportunity to pray with the families and invite them to church and the Christmas Concert.
If you would like to donate to Mercy’s Gate and buy a Thanksgiving Meal Kit, please click the button below that will take you to a form. On the form, make sure to change the drop-down selection from “General” to “Mercy’s Gate Thanksgiving Meals.” Donations are being accepted now through November 22.
Year-End Giving
We are approaching the end of the year, and we are also approaching the end of the church's fiscal year. An increase in giving in November and December is a normal part of how the church budget works. Year-end giving helps to cover the deficit that we ordinarily see at this time of the year and to finish strong, which helps us start the New Year well, when giving is usually lower.
We are thankful for how the Lord has provided for us in past years and trust him to provide for us again this year. Our goal this year is $1,000,000. We were just short of that last year, and we are asking God to supply our need again.
Would you please pray for God’s provision and how he would have you participate in supporting his church? We will be giving updates each week to keep everyone up to date.
