Off-Site Activities:

  • Guided Group Hike (2-3 hours): V7’s own Angie T. (BV area resident with 30 years experience in wilderness camping) will lead a moderate hike near the Continental Divide while helping us reflect on God’s beauty through His creation. (Weather permitting)

  • Mt. Princeton Hot Springs: get discounted tickets at the Spring Canyon front desk and check out a towel to save money!

    • Spring Canyon Discount Price: $35 with free towel checkout. Hot Springs regular price: $45/adult + $10/towel.

  • Downtown Buena Vista: A variety of fun and eclectic shops/restaurants in a quaint mountain town.

  • 'Terrace on Main Tasting' downtown: A room has been reserved for V7 women from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. with special discounted pricing (limit 40). www.terraceonmain.com 

On-Site Activities:

  • Open Craft/Game Time at the Retreat Center: Bring your own project to work on. Each cabin also has a few games and puzzles.

  • Self-led Hike: There are also shorter self-led hikes available on Spring Canyon’s property.

  • Fishing: NO catch and release allowed. You may check out equipment, catch and clean fish yourself (limit 4), and they will cook it for you ($8)

    • Fishing license is NOT required for the private ponds, but one IS REQUIRED for the creek that runs through the property.

  • Many other activities are available on site: game room, archery range, coffeehouse, kayaking and canoeing (until first snow), sports equipment available for checkout and much more!
