We partner with Mercy’s Gate each year to provide Thanksgiving Meal Kits for families that have received services from Mercy’s Gate.
These meal kits ease the burden and make it possible for these families to have a large Thanksgiving meal together.
We are asking for funds from the congregation to purchase food items for the meal kits. A donation of $40 covers a full Thanksgiving meal for a family in need. On Sunday, November 22, 12:00-2:00 p.m., the meal kits are distributed by church members who have an opportunity to pray with the recipients and invite them to church and the Christmas Concert.
